Hello and welcome to my family!
My name is Antoinette Capodicci,
but you can call me Nonna Antoinette.

I spent my happy childhood in Italy, in the region of sunny Naples, and was born into simple means. I didn’t have much when I was growing up, but I was blessed to have two amazingly talented Nonne (Grandmothers) who could make anything we had on hand taste delicious.
My passion for cooking and baking started early in my childhood as I watched my Nonne make magic in the kitchen. I knew ever since then that I wanted that magic to be a part of my life!
I came to the US with my family at 13 years of age. My life has not been easy but I believe that we are a product of our past. Because of my “sunny disposition,” the difficult times made me grow stronger, instead of destroying me.
Through the ups and downs of my life, the things I could always count on have been: my faith, my family, my close friends and my food.
When I'm stressed, I cook and bake. When I'm happy, I cook and bake. When I show love, I cook and bake.
People say, "Italians love through food." For me, this is more than ad adage - it's become a way of life.
I love to share my love for food with all my family and friends, and now I want to share it with you! My recipes are old fashioned with a modern flair. I've taken the foundation from my nonne and added a few updates to reflect a more current style.
