Ciaooooooo!!!
Do I sound excited? You bet I am!!!
Best in Dough FINALLY premiered today at 12midnight, EST!!!
I’m in the very first episode of the series. Thank goodness for that because I don’t think I could have waited one more minute than I have already! Lol
The anticipation and nervousness about how the episode has been edited is tickling my curiosity.
You see, we filmed for many, many hours and I don’t know how that talented editing team was able to squeeze it into a 35 minute episode.
I have no idea what clips ended up on the cutting room floor (although I don’t think it’s done that way anymore due to the digital era). It will be a surprise to me just as much as it is for you.
After the episode airs, I will be at liberty to share more details and I can’t wait to share with all of you, my extended culinary family. What I can share now is what an amazing experience it was for me!
I was able to express that more efficiently to a reporter last week. Here’s the link to the article if you’d like to check it out:
https://www.newstimes.com/news/article/Southbury-resident-to-appear-in-Hulu-s-new-17447626.php The fact that a little girl from Italy came here with the love for cooking and baking; developed her own style and recipes; wished her dream of reaching people with her love and talent; and for that dream to actually come true, is beyond magical!
Having lived a life in which I always put myself last, this wonderful experience has made me ecstatic. For the first time in my entire life, this is all from me and about me!
Of course, my loving family is so very proud of me and I know that Dan is looking at me from above with a huge smile! In fact, he was my biggest fan and suggested many times that I should pursue my dream. Speaking of smiling from above, I really hope I’m making my wonderful grandmothers (from whom I inherited my love and talent) proud! To my nonne: “I thank you for your love, patience and teachings. I tried my best to keep the traditions and authenticity of your recipes true and accurate. This is for you nonne!”.
Thank you for allowing me to be a bit sentimental today. Today is a big moment for me and I hope you’ll share it with me. Please log in to Hulu today or, if you’re not able to do so, log in anytime and search for Best in Dough.
I leave you now with a recipe for delicious muffins that you can have with coffee or tea while watching my show! :)
Have a great week ahead my friends and keep in touch! Come back and see me again next week, as always, in my kitchen. I’ll be waiting….
Bacioni (Big Kisses),
Nonna Antoinette
